During the years 1994-1996 Time-Life produced a CD & Magazine called "Grooves". Veteran New York City DJ Vin Scelsa was given full control of the project, and a total of 14 wonderful issues were produced. They each highlighted Vin's selections of the best tracks from the best new albums/artists of the time. In addition, the last track on every CD was a bonus acoustic track by one of the featured artists recorded in the studio just for "Grooves". It was the next best thing to listening to Vin's radio show, "Idiot's Delight".
2010 remaster. CD1 is their original 1981 debut album. CD2 is packed full of previously unreleased material including: The AIR Studios versions, The Manchester Square Demos, BBC Radio 1 Peter Powell session and Night Versions of Planet Earth & Girls on Film. Specially packaged in a clamshell box with lift off lid & includes an 8 page booklet, 5 postcards of individual band shots plus a collectors folded poster that was used in Japanese original LP.
In 1994, the band was formed under the name Carpe Diem and soon became "the spearhead for Swiss made independent electro-pop music" (Bravo magazine). The band became popular in the international electro-scene after going on tour with acclaimed acts like Deine Lakaien, De/Vision, Mesh and Clan of Xymox.
