Unreleased British folk from 1972. Three young German musicians are spending their summer holidays hanging around London folk-clubs; among those they visit are The Half Moon in Putney and The Nag's Head in Battersea.

Northport NY - On June 23, M.C. Records will be releasing Six Strings of Steel by guitar master Duke Robillard. The record represents all his influences including swing, blues, and rock.

Call Joe Simon the reluctant soul star. Despite his countless hits in the 1960s and '70s, his heart just wasn't in it, though the sound proved otherwise. Thankfully, that's not a bit apparent on this collection, which consists of his fabulous, hit-laden discography from 1966-1970 with producer Richbourg at the helm for Sound Stage 7 Records.

The Rolling Stones will issue a previously unreleased 1989 concert film Steel Wheels Live – Atlantic City, New Jersey in September across a large number of audio and video formats.

A three-CD set that includes a newly remastered version of the original album and a selection of rarities. A major highlight is the new mix by Terry Date, the legendary producer who was behind the console for the band’s previous four landmark albums: Cowboys from Hell (1990), Vulgar Display of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994) and The Great Southern Trendkill (1996).

Edward Simon is a pensive, rhythmically astute, versatile player aesthetically concerned with simplicity and economy. In 1989 Simon took over the piano chair in Bobby Watson’s group Horizon and has never looked back ! Simon has become increasingly interested in the folk music of his native land resulting in his “Venezuelan Suite” which crosses the barriers between jazz, chamber and folk music. All-star bands are usually a hit-and-miss prospect, however, this big three, exceed expectations! Scott Colley is one of the best bassists in the world (and the best from Eagle Rock High School). Brian Blade remains one of the most creative and dynamic jazz drummers alive and Edward Simon is at the top of his game. These extraordinary instrumentalists convert their shared histories into nimble, poetic, genre-leaping music.

Highlights of last year was returning to New York to play 2 incredible shows at Brooklyn Steel and thanks to my team and the incredible Frank Filipetti, the whole concert was recorded. It gives me great pleasure to announce that I am releasing 'MIKA, Live from Brooklyn Steel'.
