This collection of 131 recordings acts as a comprehensive anthology of works associated with, and involving the multi-talented musical genius and legend Mark Wirtz. With a free badge and collectible double-sided facsimile of the handwritten lyrics for 'Grocer Jack' from 1967. Plus out-takes, rare tracks, work tapes and works in progress from acetate recordings, interview clips and several new remixes of a selection of tracks, some now available in stereo for the first time. Many tracks never reissued for over 50 years in any format including two complete LPs from 1968 and 1970. Several tracks available in their original Mono mixes for the first time in many years including 'Grocer Jack', 'Sam' and four classic Tomorrow tracks, and 'A Touch Of Velvet, A Sting Of Brass' available in stereo for the first time in 50 years. Includes several bonus tracks of collectible material from best available sources.

Now Katia Labèque has released an album of solo performances and duets – the latter with three jazz piano giants in Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, as well as two tracks for Sting on vocals, plus Dimension X producer/guitarist David Chalmin. The conversations with the three pianists all represent eloquent balances of Labeque's fragile precision against freewheeling improvisational energy. My Funny Valentine (with Hancock) shifts from wistful beginnings to a driving boogie; We Will Meet Again (with Corea) is a fitting tribute to composer Bill Evans's delicate clarity; and Besame Mucho (with Rubalcaba) grows turbulent in its middle section. Sting is a little theatrical, and Chalmin's Purple Diamond has a faintly David Brent-like fervency, but Erik Satie's Gnossienne No 3 is as exquisite as always. –John Fordham

Charles Aznavour's double-disc Duos album boasts a lot of starpower and a bunch of his greatest hits, but there's less than initially meets the eye here. Sure, a quick glance at the track listing shows a long list of international superstars who team up with Aznavour to sing duets on the album, including Céline Dion, Julio Iglesias, Placido Domingo, Laura Pausini, Elton John, Johnny Hallyday, Nana Mouskouri, Sting, Josh Groban, Carole King, Paul Anka, Herbert Gronemeyer, Liza Minnelli, and Bryan Ferry. Even the late Edith Piaf, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin show up for duets. Moreover, the track listing reads like a greatest-hits collection, compiling the classics "Toi et Moi," "Hier Encore," and "La Bohème," among many others.
