In honour of the legendary Curtis Mayfield, his first four studio albums are to be released in the new boxset Keep on Keeping on: Curtis Mayfield Studio albums 1970-1974 all newly remastered, marking the 50 years since Mayfield’s Prolific Solo Career came to Start.

Musical Prophet: The Expanded 1963 New York Studio Sessions is the first official release of previously-unissued Eric Dolphy studio recordings in over 30 years! This release contains the masterpiece albums Conversations and Iron Man recorded in NYC in July, 1963.

The "Studio Concert" concept is no novelty for Katharina Maschmeyer and her quartet. The musicians recorded a studio concert record in the Bauer Studios in April 2015 (NLP4120). Two years later, they return to the Bauer Studios, this time with the legendary percussionist Nippy Noya as a guest.

Sonia Leigh is set to release her full-length live album on 15th June, 2018, paralleling her summer UK festival performances Sonia Leigh moved around frequently throughout her childhood, spending time in five states across the Bible Belt and Midwest. This filled her early life with changing scenery and half-packed moving boxes. Throughout, though, music remained a constant presence. "Growing up, my dad played music," Sonia told Curve magazine, "He was a writer, and I'd listen to his songs that he wrote and I'd steal his guitar. As soon as I learned a few chords and I could change them fast enough, I started writing songs too."

NZ's most-loved musical collective, Fly My Pretties, are set to release The Studio Recordings Part One. With a rich history as a live act, this album represents the first studio recordings in their 15 year history, and presents some of their finest tracks in a new setting. Featuring members of The Black Seeds, The Phoenix Foundation, Hollie Smith, Mike Fabulous (Lord Echo), LA Mitchell (Terrible Sons), and more.

In 2014, Marialy Pacheco's album INTRODUCING appeared on reverberation, convincing her with her self-confident style and her Cuban temperament. Now she presents another facet of her musical diversity and brought a piece of Cuba to Ludwigsburg for the STUDIO CONCERT. For this recording, the pianist and official "Bösendorfer Artist" chose her "favorite pieces". They are both current compositions and arrangements, as well as older works by Marialy Pacheco. She draws from Cuban folk music and transforms it into a completely new form. Her engagement with the musical tradition creates a balance between seriousness and technical sophistication on the one hand, and lightness and Caribbean fire on the other.

Drums and piano as a duo - a rather unusual cast. Chris Gall on the piano and Bernhard Schimpelsberger on the percussion played together in the band "Taalism"; After that, they parted ways for almost 10 years. While Bernhard Schimpelsberger immersed himself deeper and deeper into the world of Indian rhythm in London and India and toured around the world with well-known Indian musicians such as Anoushka Shankar and Akram Khan, Chris Gall performed mainly bizarre, jazz-rocky tracks with his piano trio and soloist has been on tour as guest musician of the successful formation Quadro Nuevo for two years.

Triozean is Olga Nowikowa on piano, Lars Födisch on bass and Krishan Zeigner on drums. A folkloristic thread ran through the whole program, be it Russian folk music or a Tango. The trio stuck to it in a very creative way. Often the pieces were based on the folklore's plain harmonies. With those the trio played freely and changed them to paint some very appealing musical images. Apart from pieces from their studio albms Nocturne and polar the band played new, unpublished songs. From catchy themes to tricky polyrhythms the Dresden based band created a couloured and diverse program. At that they provided so much ease and joy of playing, that one could not see that it was no ordinary concert to Triozean.

Jütz's debut album was nominated for the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" in 2015. A few months later, the band returns to Bauer Studios for a STUDIO CONCERT. For this vinyl she chooses both older and new pieces and apart from Italian and Austrian also German songs, which she reinterprets and embeds in a robe of jazz. Sometimes quietly hidden and loud in the next title present all the pieces of Alpine flair, which is characteristic of the trio.

Over the years, many experimental or avant-garde jazzmen were already in front of the microphones of Bauer Studios for direct recording in the Studiokonzert, but Maria Joao and her two companions Joao Farinha and Andre Nascimento are really a very own league. The Brazilian singer is flanked by two electronics specialists, one on the synthesizer, the other on the laptop. This is a very cool and exciting mix of beats, loops, and grooves. Maria Joao, a voice, is an irresistible energy bunch, between jazz jazz and a totally freaky scat song, everything is conceivable for her and Cole Porter's "I Get A Kick Out Of You "a gloomy Drum'n'Bass number, and the second is dedicated to the electro settings of Shakespeare poems - plenty of fun,
