Sunstorm is a star-studded AOR/melodic rock outfit featuring powerhouse vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple); bassist Dennis Ward, guitarist Uwe Reitenauer, and drummer Chris Schmidt (all members of Pink Cream 69); and keyboardist Jochen Weyer. Founded in 2006, the band issued its eponymous debut album that same year via Frontiers Records. A sophomore outing, House of Dreams, dropped in 2009, followed by Emotional Fire (2012) and Edge of Tomorrow (2016).

Any hardcore fan of hard rock will certainly be no stranger to the story of Joe Lynn Turner’s career. From his early days with Fandango to his successful stints fronting Rainbow, Deep Purple, and Yngwie Malmsteen and through his heralded solo career, the New Jersey-born singer has had his vocal talents on display for decades now. Years ago, Turner got in touch with Frontiers’ President Serafino Perugino and after discussions between the two, the idea of unearthing some classic melodic rock gems to craft the definitive Joe Lynn Turner AOR album came about. This brought about the release of the first SUNSTORM album in 2006, and then came “House of Dreams” in 2009, “Emotional Fire” in 2012, and the definitively more hard rocking “Edge Of Tomorrow” in 2016. ''Hurry Up And Wait'' is the 4th solo album by Joe Lynn Turner released in 1998. According to Turner, there were supposed to be two tracks on the album featuring Doogie White, 'Too Much is Not Enough' and 'Freedom Wings', but the latter didn't make the album. Also, 'Too Much Is Not Enough' is a re-recording of a song from Slaves and Master by Deep Purple.
