Proclaimed the International Ambassador of Country Music thanks to his performances around the world during the 1970s, George Hamilton IV began his career in the late '50s not as a country artist but as a teen-oriented pop star. After his first hit, "A Rose and a Baby Ruth," hit number six on the pop charts in 1956, he toured with Buddy Holly and the Everly Brothers but cracked the pop Top Ten only one more time. Instead, Hamilton moved to the country charts by 1959, where nine of his hits spent time in the Top Ten, including his only number one, "Abilene."

Patrik Kleemola (b.1981) is one of the most prominent Finnish guitarists to emerge in recent years. After winning the II Guitaristival “Takemitsu” International Guitar Competition in Finland 2004 and gaining prizes in other competitions such as Gargnano's International Guitar Competition, his concert career has taken him to London, Buenos Aires, Rome, Milan, Athens, Turin, Florence, Tallinn, Helsinki and other cities in South America and Europe.

Erwin Stein, a disciple of Arnold Schoenberg, arranged Gustav Mahler’s Fourth Symphony for a chamber ensemble. The premiere was given in 1921 with Schoenberg conducting at one of his famous Society for Private Musical Performances in Vienna. Stein had known Mahler and gained a deep understanding of his compositional processes. in this arrangement he sought to highlight the symphony’s chamber texture and restore its tone colours.
