Suss'd's overhaul of the Salsoul catalog results in another necessary release. Here, First Choice gets double-disc treatment that provides both the single edits and well-known extended mixes of the biggest hits, including "Doctor Love" (present on the second disc in the form of a Tom Moulton mix), "Let No Man Put Asunder" (the Shep Pettibone mix is included), and "Love Thang" (overhauled by the late, great Tee Scott). It wouldn't be possible to release a better compilation of the group's Salsoul years, though the set has the disadvantage of not being able to cover their earlier years, when they were releasing gorgeous singles like "Armed and Extremely Dangerous," "Smarty Pants," "The Player," and "Guilty."

Dopesmoker is the original version of Sleep's epic masterpiece of a song "Jerusalem". This release also includes the live track "Sonic Titan" - a previously unreleased bonus track! Dopesmoker is approximately 11 minutes longer than Jerusalem.

Kylie Ann Minogue, OBE (born 28 May 1968) is an Australian pop singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to prominence in the late 1980s through her role in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, before commencing her career as a recording artist in 1987.

Signed to a contract by songwriters and producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1987, she achieved a string of hit records throughout the world. Her popularity waned during the early 1990s, leading her to part company from Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1992. During the 1990s, Minogue distanced herself from her earlier work and attempted to establish herself as a credible and independent performer and songwriter. Her projects were widely publicised, but her albums failed to attract a substantial audience and resulted in the lowest sales of her career at the time. She returned to popularity as a pop artist in 2000, and became well-known for her elaborate music videos and expensively mounted stage shows. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, Minogue returned to performing and recording in late 2006 after a period of convalescence.

Although she was dismissed by some critics during her early career, she has achieved longevity as a pop icon. She has sold over 60 million records worldwide, and has achieved her greatest successes in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, Asia, South Africa and Latin America. Hank Crawford's '60s sides for Atlantic rightfully established him among the preeminent soul-jazz saxophonists. For pure phrasing and feel, Crawford was in a class by himself. When Creed Taylor kicked off CTI in 1970, he brought Crawford on board immediately. This date from 1973 – one of eight cut between 1971 and 1978 – is Crawford's strongest for the label and one of the better records of his career, though jazz purists would never agree. Produced and arranged by Bob James with a smoking cast that includes Joe Beck, Idris Muhammad, Richard Tee, and Bob Cranshaw, as well as a brass section of crack New York studio cats, Wildflower is the album Crawford had been trying to make since 1971. Recorded in two days, the band provides a slick, right, colorful platform for Crawford's melodic improvisation that is rooted in the art of the phrase. One long note held on "Mr. Blues" or a series of carefully articulated verbal feelings, such as on "Corazon," may not step out of the groove, but make it both a deeper blue and as wide as the human heart's complexity. On the title cut, with a vocal chorus in the background, Crawford turns a pop melody into a torrent of raw emotionalism and savvy groove-conscious glory. James' charts are big but never obtrusive; they point in one direction only, to bring that huge soul sound out of Crawford's alto – check out the way the melody line breaks down into the solo in Stevie Wonder's "You've Got It Bad Girl," or the backbeat arpeggio exercises in "Good Morning Heartache." This record is so hot the only soul-jazz it can be compared to in both its contemporary form and funky feel are Grover Washington's Feels So Good and Mister Magic issues. In other words, Crawford's Wildflower is indispensable as a shining example of '70s groove jazz at its best.

Since emigrating to Canada in 1998 from his home in Budapest, Hungary, pianist Robi Botos has been gathering accolade after accolade, winning (amongst them) the Montreux Jazz Festival Jazz Piano Prize, not to mention playing with a bevy of artists including the late Michael Brecker, Toots Thielemans and Roberta Gambarini.

Chevalier, AK. Picking up where the performance-based Moves On album left off in 2005, theres a sweating, smoking live band at the heart of the new record, made up of long-term members of the Rosa roster, Will Scott (drums), Matt Short (bass) & Ben White (guitar).

Stuff Live At Montreux 1976 is their only performance at Montreux, combined the talents of five amazing musicians: Cornell Dupree on guitar, Gordon Edwards on bass, Steve Gadd on drums, Eric Gale on guitar and Richard Tee on keyboards. Individually they were among New Yorks most sought after session players of their day but together as Stuff they had a magic all of their own. This will be a joyful addition to Stuff fans. These guys traveled the world as musicians backing folks like Grover Washington, Paul Simon, Joe Cocker and Aretha Franklin.
