Formed in 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Foreign Resort has spent 10 years creating and honing an explosive yet melancholy post-punk sound that is as rich as it is exciting, and as immediate as it is dark and deep. Charli is the third studio album by English singer Charli XCX. It was released through Asylum and Atlantic Records UK on 13 September 2019. Charli XCX's initial third studio album was planned for release in 2017, but was scrapped in its entirety following online leaks. The album will be supported by a world tour, beginning in Atlanta on 20 September 2019. Charli was preceded by the singles "1999" with Troye Sivan, "Blame It on Your Love" featuring Lizzo, and "Gone" with Christine and the Queens. Charli was also promoted by the promotional singles "Cross You Out" featuring Sky Ferreira, "Warm" featuring Haim, "February 2017" featuring Clairo and Yaeji, and "2099" also featuring Sivan. Upon release, the album was met with critical acclaim, with praise centered on the album's innovative production and songwriting.

Underground sleaze merchants Warmduscher will release new album 'Tainted Lunch' on November 1st. The band's storming debut album 'Whale City' was one of 2018's real word of mouth breakouts, a storming piece of lascivious rock music. Expanding their number and heading back into the studio, the group are ready to ejaculate forth some new material. New album 'Tainted Lunch' lands on November 1st through the Leaf Label, with guests including Iggy Pop and hip-hop pioneer Kool Keith.

Head Above Water is the upcoming sixth studio album by Canadian singer Avril Lavigne. It is scheduled to be released on February 15, 2019, through BMG Rights Management. It will be Lavigne's first studio release since her self-titled fifth studio album (2013), marking the longest gap between two of her studio albums. Lavigne assumed an integral role in the album's production and collaborated with several producers including Stephan Moccio, Chris Baseford, Johan Carlsson, Lauren Christy from The Matrix, Ryan Cabrera, Travis Clark, Bonnie McKee, JR Rotem and Mitch Allan among others. Head Above Water draws inspiration from Lavigne's battle with Lyme disease, with her describing the album as an "emotional journey". "Head Above Water" was released as the lead single from the album in September 2018, followed by "Tell Me It's Over" as the second single in December and "Dumb Blonde" as the third single the week of the album's release, a collaboration with rapper Nicki Minaj.
