In life we have all met people that stand out for one reason or another (be it positive or negative). Then, if we're fortunate, we cross paths with excellence, high vision, professionalism, and extreme talent. This describes pianist Tyrone Jackson. This recording is just a mere appetizer of what he brings to the table musically, but yet after listening to "From The Mind Of" you feel totally satisfied but have the question like "Who Is This Man?", "Where did he come from?", and "Why doesn't he have a household name?"

It came out in 1994 from Edoya Records. The band says "Acoustic album" but strictly speaking, the guitar should be plug-in just because it is drumless. 7 songs out of 10 are supported by a simple backing with only guitars and pianos, and 3 songs only with guitars and basses. The songs of Tyrone Hashimoto resonate with Kobushi's every corner even rare. It is housed in a small work-like touch sandwiched in a normal album. There are two original songs, but the cover song is a soulful number that is black and white regardless of S. WONDER's 1982 "Ribbon in the sky", regardless of black and white in the early 1970s.

Originals and covers masterfully arranged. Instead of bending my compositions to fit neatly in the "jazz" genre, I decided to record songs the way I hear them in my head. The compositions were based on the “Fender Rhodes” rather than the piano.

Gregory Tyrone is the jazz-funk artist formally known as GMoney. This new album "Back For More' took 4 years to complete. It features a hard driving dance floor ready groove, the album's title track 'Back For More'. It then is rounded out with cool lounge like songs 'Second Round', heartfelt ballads like 'After The Love Is Gone', soulful R&B based songs like 'In And Out', and bouncy jazzy track with a reggae feel, 'Best Friends', and the first vocal track from this artist 'Out Of This Space' which is a song dealing with the subject of political discourse and social injustice. This album 'Back For More is a fusion of jazz with various genres, R&B, dance, reggae, pop, rock. If you have followed GMoney's 3 previous albums you will hear a new maturity and sophistication with these new songs and represents a new direction for future releases from Gregory Tyrone.
