Tangerine Dream

Rubycon is the sixth studio album by German electronic music group Tangerine Dream, released in 1975. It is widely regarded as one of their best albums. Rubycon further develops the Berlin School sequencer-based sound they ushered in with the title track from Phaedra.

Ricochet is the first live album and seventh album overall by German electronic music group Tangerine Dream, released in 1975. It consists of two side-long compositions mixed from recordings of the UK and France portions of their August–October 1975 European Tour. The sound of the album is similar to that of the group's other "Virgin Years" releases, relying heavily on synthesizers and sequencers to produce a dense, ambient soundscape, but is much more energetic than their previous works. Ricochet uses more percussion and electronic guitar than its predecessors Phaedra and Rubycon, and borders on electronic rock. The main innovation on the album is the use of complex, multi-layered rhythms, foreshadowing the band's own direction in the 1980s and trance music and similar genres of electronic dance music.

Phaedra is the fifth studio album by German electronic music group Tangerine Dream. It was recorded during November 1973 at The Manor in Shipton-on-Cherwell, England and released on 20 February 1974 through Virgin Records. This is the first Tangerine Dream album to feature their now classic sequencer-driven sound, which is considered to have greatly influenced the Berlin School genre.

Recorded live at Barbican Hall London on 13th March 2019. The Sessions VII EP contains one 40 minute instant live composition from the TD line-up Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Schnauss, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick. Tangerine Dream are very much enjoying their new respectively revived concept of performing a so-called real time composition session at the end of their concerts. During this famous concert, which features the iconic 1975 line-up of Edgar Froese, Chris Franke and Peter Baumann, Tangerine Dream performs the 'Ricochet' album for the first time.

'Probe 6-8' is the band’s preview to their upcoming album in March 2022, the second studio album after the passing of the founder Edgar Froese.

Magenta, Yellow & Turquoise. On August 1, 1987, Tangerine Dream gave a memorable concert on the Platz der Republik, right in front of the Reichstag in Berlin, as part of the city's 750th anniversary celebrations. With over 100, 000 spectators, the concert took place near the Berlin Wall, symbolizing the division of Germany. The group's electronic music, accompanied by spectacular visuals and fireworks, created a unique experience. Rumor has it that people in East Germany could even hear the event.
