Cardiacs first full-length album gets four disc reissue. Influential British art rock band Cardiacs are to have their debut studio album A Little Man And A House And The Whole World Window, catalogue number ALPHLP007, reissued through The Alphabet Concern label on September 6, 35-years after it’s original release. The new reissue features in a casebound book set has four bonus discs featuring a remastered show from London's Town and Country Club in 1987, all of the BBC radio sessions, the complete studio sessions and a previously unreleased version of Gina Lollabrigida where Tim Smith can be heard counting the players in from the top.

This new double LP version restores the track “Deep Sky Objects” to the original running order of the album as it was left off of the original single LP version due to side length restraints. This is the first time this album has been available on vinyl in almost two decades, and the first time the Drop EP has been available in any format since original release in 1994.
At the same time, Kranky is making the CD version available once again for the first time in many years, with the Drop EP tracks also included. The debut album from New York City’s Bowery Electric was released by Kranky in late summer 1995 after they came to the label’s attention via their self-released 2x7-inch Drop EP from the year previous. The first in a trio of albums released by the core duo of Lawrence Chandler and Martha Schwendener finds them in their most raw form.

Throughout the 60s, New Zealand had always been three to six months behind overseas music and fashion. By 1970 we were virtually on a par with the overseas scene. There was now a wider musical gap as the rock became heavier and the pop became poppier. The teens that had grown up and lived through the sixties were now young adults and were generally looking for something else, there was a lot to pick from as Rock fused itself with everything from Country to Jazz. Public Image Ltd. (PiL) have decided to continue plans to announce their 11th studio album and first album in 8 years, End of World, following the sad passing of John’s wife of more than 4 decades, Nora Forster, on 5th April. End of World will be released on 11th August 2023 on PiL Official via Cargo UK Distribution, followed by a 38-date UK and European Tour. The band began writing and recording End of World in 2018, during their 40th anniversary tour. After The Great Pause, the band regrouped in the studio and “there was just this massive explosion of ideas,” Lydon says.
