With almost ten years of pop history, the Dolly Dots are an important chapter in Dutch pop music. It's high time to give the Dolly Dots' oeuvre the release it deserves in this beautiful collector's box from music label CD-licious.
‘The Complete Album Collection… and a little bit more!’ brings all ten albums together, plus many rare bonus tracks, of which many have not been available for over 35 years. Most albums have their first official release in this boxset.It contains 141 tracks on ten CDs, of which 58 were previously unavailable officially on CD. In addition to the albums, the 10-CD boxset also contains 12” versions, B-sides, single versions and foreign releases. The Dolly Dots recorded a French-language single for the French market. Different versions of 'P.S.' appeared in America. Also in Japan and on various singles, versions were heard that were different from those on the albums. In the archives one recording has also been found especially for this CD box, that has never been released before: the classic 'Sloop John B.'.

Essentially a solo venture, Recoil began whilst Wilder was still in Depeche Mode as an outlet for his experimental, less pop-oriented compositions. Once he announced his departure from the group in 1995, Recoil was transformed from a small side-project into Wilder's primary musical enterprise.

A British pop singer known for her rich, remarkably bluesy voice, Alison Moyet sang in the short-lived, hit alternative dance group Yazoo before returning to the top of the U.K. album chart with her 1984 solo debut, Alf. It included "Invisible," her only Top 40 hit in the U.S. She went on to become a steady presence on the U.K. charts, however, with each of her studio albums reaching at least the Top 30. Sticking with a primarily synth-driven adult pop for her first few albums, she eventually experimented with lusher arrangements, including strings on 2002's Hometime, and took on standards with 2004's Voice. Released in 2013, The Minutes marked a return to club-minded electronics while keeping her sound distinctly contemporary. In 2017, Moyet's ninth studio album, Other, was accompanied by her first extensive world tour in 30 years. The Jesus and Mary Chain are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in East Kilbride in 1983. The band revolves around the songwriting partnership of brothers Jim and William Reid. Their debut album "Psychocandy" was released to critical acclaim in 1985 on major label WEA… The band went on to release five more studio albums before disbanding in 1999. They are reunited in 2007.
