"Arhontorembetika" (rembetika of the bourgeoise) was the name given to a special style of songs of the 50's that were "rebetika" written by composers of the, so called, light (european style) song. The great singer Vicky Mosholiou, one of the best and most beloved in Greece, recorded 2 CD with popular "arhontorembetika", that made a huge success.
