My TIN APPLE are a Tuscan band founded in 1998, from the nearbys of Siena, who play Tin Rock. At first, it was only a duo playing at home acustic guitar and a drum made of boxes. Then they started to look for other members and create their line up, instruments got real. After several years of song covers, metal, line up changes and moniker from Dark Faith to Overfaith, the first demo and album are recorded. The band plays as opening act for Exodus, Death SS, Afterhours and takes part to Metal Camp 2006 in Slovenia.

The long-awaited 2nd studio album “Outlaw Heaven” from The Popes feat. Shane MacGowan has been released.

Outlaw Heaven is a stirring and cathartic collection of songs which run the gamut from punk to country, delivered by a new band assembled by original Pope-in-chief Paul “Mad Dog” McGuinness.

The disc reflects The Clash, Bo Diddley and a whole history of Irish folk, but thanks to the influence of new collaborators Charlie Hoskins and Will Morrison, there’s a punchy experimental edge to it too.

Back in September 1962, the only Beatles records in the shops saw them backing Tony Sheridan on a goosed-up version of My Bonnie, Their debut single Love Me Do would be released in October 1962 and the seismic change they brought to music worldwide would occur once the band achieved light speed in 1963. There was, however, before Beatlemania a thriving music culture that dropped anchor in a number of ports. Proto pop charts might be dominated by the likes of Cliff and his Shadows, crooners and sweet looking pop idols who brushed their teeth but R&B was gently finding its way into record racks either through imports or a growing number of home grown cover versions. The Motown sound was taking root in Detroit, America and already filtering into the UK on poor selling 7” singles on London and Fontana.

There is money missing from a bank job, an attractive model, an insurance investigator, and two extremely dangerous thugs. James Vanning (Aldo Ray) portrays an innocent man on the run, being pursued by the criminals who stupidly misplaced their take from the crime and think he has it or knows where it is hidden. Add model Marie Gardner (Anne Bancroft) who crossed paths with nice guy Vanning, while he is on the run. This all adds up to a thriller wherein the viewer is drawn into the story and becomes part of the drama. When Marie says "things that really happen are difficult to explain" it captures the theme of this film…..

Conan and Olivia have escaped the terrible wrath of the armies of Turan by fleeing to a small island in the vast Vilayet Sea, but it seems that Conan cannot avoid all the enemies that he made as leader of the Kozaki raiders. The small island that he and Olivia have used to put some distance between them and the Turanian military has turned out to be an appealing hiding place for another group of outlaws-the Red Brotherhood! Traveling only with the beautiful Olivia, and without an army of mercenaries at his back, Conan is no longer protected from their rage. However, they may not be the most dangerous adversaries Conan will have to face if he and Olivia are to get off the island in one piece! Large predators stalk the forest, and there is something much, much worse lurking within the ruins of an ancient civilization. Tim Truman, Tomas Giorello, and Jose Villarrubia continue their adaptation of Robert E. Howard's "Iron Shadows in the Moon." --
