Composer, singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Laufey continues her story by writing and recording Bewitched, her second album. Inspired by jazz greats and classical masters while possessing a point of view that could only be conveyed by a 21st-century twentysomething, Bewitched represents an expansion of Laufey's sonic palette. Tracks like the breezy bossa nova cut "From The Start" and the smoldering string-assisted ballad "Promise" have classic songcraft and intricate arrangements that make them feel instantly timeless, while Laufey's conversational lyrics give her music a relatability to the next generation of jazz, pop, and classical aficionados.

An album with a remarkable journey through music from Latin America and the Caribbean plus Mexico’s son jarocho, it’s a collaboration among multi GRAMMY® winners Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, together with featured guests: the Conga Patria Collective, that includes Patricio Hidalgo, Ramón Gutiérrez Hernández, Tacho Utrera, Wendy Cao Romero, Fernando Guadarrama, and Jorge Francisco Castillo (founder, Fandango Fronterizo).

Recorded at the Famous Ballroom, Baltimore, Maryland on November 11, 1973. Limited-edition, 180-gram 2-LP set with audio transferred from the original tape reels and mastered by Bernie Grundman. The back of the jacket states Limited-Edition Pressing of 2500. US RSD site identifies this as a 'RSD First' Release with Quantity: 1800.

"Waterloo" is the first single from the Swedish pop group ABBA's second album of the same name, and their first under the Atlantic label in the US. This was also the first single to be credited to the group performing under the name ABBA. The title and lyrics reference the 1815 Battle of Waterloo, and use it as a metaphor for a romantic relationship. The Swedish version of the single was backed with the Swedish version of "Honey, Honey", while the English version featured "Watch Out" on the B-side.

Andrea Bocelli turns his attention to some of the greatest movie music ever composed on this collection, produced by David Foster to showcase Bocelli's unique voice on themes from Doctor Zhivago, The Godfather, Gladiator, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, West Side Story and Evita, among others. Bocelli sings in five languages and is joined by guests Ariana Grande and Nicole Scherzinger. This deluxe edition adds three bonus tracks, including the classic theme from Love Story. This Super Deluxe edition expands on the original Deluxe with an additional 10 tracks!

The soundtrack to Robert Wise’s film version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music is being reissued across multiple formats, with a super deluxe edition offering “every musical element” from the film and a Dolby Atmos Mix.
The musical features classics such as as ‘My Favourite Things’, ‘Do-Re-Mi’, ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘Edelweiss’ and Robert Wise walked away with Best Picture and Best Director Oscars (being director and co-producer) at the 1966 Academy Awards.
The new reissue is led by a 4CD+blu-ray super deluxe which features over 40 previously unreleased tracks, including 11 never-before-heard alternate takes and instrumentals of each song for that singalong-a-Sound-of-Music experience. The blu-rays capacity allows it to deliver the full score in hi-res stereo audio and well as a Dolby Atmos Mix of the 16-track original soundtrack.

Although he is best known for lounge-oriented film scores like Svezia Inferno E Paradiso and Angeli Bianchi…Angeli Neri, Italian composer Piero Umiliani was also a prolific composer of easy listening pop. His finest effort in this vein was To-Day's Sound, a 1971 instrumental double album. This adventurous undertaking manages to justify its length by dishing up 21 tight, punchy instrumentals that mix lounge, jazz, easy listening, and pop hooks in equal measure. To-Day's Sound is also notable because it incorporates the then-new Moog synthesizer into a large number of its tracks. Indeed, the fast-paced samba of "Caretera Panamerica" and the mellow jazziness of "Coast to Coast" get added sonic kick from the thick but artfully integrated synthesizer textures that layer their arrangements. Another one of the Moog-oriented tunes, "Lady Magnolia," has become a favorite of remixers on the modern lounge music scene thanks to its effective combination of funky rhythms and bubbly synthesizer lines.

Structures from Silence‘s breathing, suspended embrace of atmospheres and serene melodies instantly struck a chord with listeners in 1984; the album continues to reiterate its timeless resonations with new listeners today. On this landmark recording of gentle proportions, the three long-form tracks were the birth of something new: an original and pure statement striking a balance between diaphanous and understated, deep and reflective. XTC’s 1984 album The Big Express will be reissued as a CD+blu-ray edition with new Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo mixes by Steven Wilson. This is the seventh in the ongoing series of expanded XTC reissues and as with the others it includes a wealth of audio including four album remixes by Wilson (Atmos, 5.1, stereo and instrumental), the whole album in demo form, plus extra demos and bonus tracks.
