The Offering

Young Canadian melodic metallers BOREALIS are returning with their fourth studio album called “The Offering”. Although Canada might not be the first country one would think of when it comes to high class melodic metal BOREALIS once again prove their potential with strong melodies, tasteful instrumentations and their very own blend of modern metal riffs, classic power metal and progressive elements.

First Word Records is very proud to present you with 'The Offering' - the debut album by Darkhouse Family; a Cardiff-based duo consisting of Earl Jeffers & Don Leisure. Previously releasing music under their respective monikers, Metabeats and Jamal, they've produced an assortment of sounds over the years, from Hip Hop to House to D'n'B.

Cardiff-based duo Earl Jeffers & Don Leisure come together as Darkhouse Family, releasing their highly anticipated debut album on First Word Records titled “The Offering”. They joined the label back in 2016 and released “Solid Gold EP”, a rich and layered project combining elements of Hip Hop, Soul, and D’n’B. “The Offering” takes the same formula to their style, and have sharpened it to create gorgeous and memorable moments.

'The Offering' is the fourth independent release from Clara Rose. The album carries the listener on a journey through original blues, roots, country, funk and a whole lot of soul. The constant presence is that of the powerful, soulful voice of Clara Rose.

As part of a planned year-long celebration of The Beach Boys’ 60th anniversary, Capitol Records/UMG are to release a newly remastered and massively expanded edition of the group’s greatest hits collection Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best of The Beach Boys.This collection was originally issued in 2003 and contained 30 tracks. The reissue updates both the number of songs and the audio quality with an extra 50 songs, giving a total of 80 tracks across three CDs or six vinyl LPs.
