The One We Fell in Love With

As a fan of historical novels I discovered Sherry's talent in one of her earlier books, Four Sisters, Four Queens where she showed off her skills while writing not just about one queen and their lives but four simultaneously and with masterful prose. That being said I could not wait for The Sharp Hook of Love where she delves into the lives and hearts of the master teacher, Peter Abélard and future abess Héloïse d'Argenteuil and their beautiful love for each other.

The White Stripes recorded Elephant in two weeks during 2002 in London's Toe Rag Studios. Jack White produced the album with antiquated equipment, including an eight-track tape machine and pre-1960s recording gear.

When I first picked up an Argeneau novel many, many moons ago, I fell in love with this series. In fact, this was the first series of books I bought when I got my first Kindle and I have been avidly awaiting each new release, pre-ordering them months in advance, just to make sure I would get the next book as soon as it was released and often getting up early to start reading as soon as the download is complete. I have to say that I am really glad I did that with this book.
