Following on from the huge acclaim for the first two volumes, Love Is The Message contains eight albums on CD and an exclusive 12” vinyl disc.

Next month, Now That’s What I Call Music will release a genre-spanning ‘Era’ release called The Sound of the Suburbs 1977-1980. In 4CD form, this set offers 80 tracks encompassing punk, new wave, reggae, ska, mod, post-punk and electronic. They were all initially released between 1977 and the end of 1980, and artists include The Undertones, The Clash, Elvis Costello, The Boomtown Rats, The Jam, The Cure, The Police, The Specials, The Beat, Japan, Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers, PIL, Devo, Skids, The Vibrators, XTC, John Foxx, The B-52s and many more. Full tracklistings for the formats are listed below. Whether this ‘Era’ release is the start of a new series or a one-off remains to be seen.

Brave Tin World is The Murder Of My Sweet fifth studio album and once again the band delivers a fine slice of Cinematic/Symphonic Metal. Often compared to music giants such as Within Temptation, Nemesea and Delain, The Murder of My Sweet are Sweden’s answer to those dutch acts. The band’s new album musically follows on the heels of the previous record, with a more straight-ahead songwriting approach, but still offering the symphonic and cinematic elements the band is now well-known for. In Sound of My Voice, Peter (Christopher Denham) and Lorna (Nicole Vicius), a couple and documentary filmmaking team, infiltrate a mysterious group led by an enigmatic young woman named Maggie (Brit Marling). Intent on exposing her as a charlatan and freeing the followers from her grip, Peter and Lorna start to question their objective and each other and they unravel the secrets of Maggie's underworld.
