The Zone of Interest

This story is, as you probably have found out by now, a story that takes place in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany during World War 2. It deals with very difficult subject mater and handles it very well. The Amazon description calls it a love story. Maybe it is, but I didn't see it as one. It is a lot more, and a lot of other things as well. I found it to be a testimony to a very dark time, a mystery, a story of friendship, and of madness. A tale of bravery and of insanity, of hope in a hopeless place. I found it disturbing and unbelievable, maddening and frightening.
