The Invitation

Recorded live At Boulder Theater - October 4, 2024 - Colorado. This concert is an opening of a portal. It was inspired by cosmic metal band Blood Incantation's invitation to cross the bridge of genre limitations and unleash our sonic passions together on the same stage for the premiere of their stunning "Absolute Elsewhere” album; it was an opportunity to present my live music to a new audience. The set was built from the elements of my 2024 US tour that presents the full range of my music over 2 hours. Mystical deep ambient - atmospheric to multilayered sequencer woven trance merging to tribal and acoustic infused Dreamtime realms. In this setting I took this 2 hour trajectory I have been performing in large Cathedrals and Churches and compressed this into a 60 min hyperblending of constant shapeshifting.

Caveats are pointless here; Dan Brown, comfortably the world’s most successful author, is utterly review-proof. And there's no arguing with the fact that he has his finger on the pulse of the modern thriller reader, furnishing the mechanics of the blockbuster adventure with energy and invention. Like its predecessor, The Lost Symbol will unquestionably be--in fact, already is--a publishing phenomenon. --Barry Forshaw

The second half of life invites us to experience new growth such that we live an even more fulfilling life. But often the invitation isn't all that attractive, with changes in our families, our health, our relationships and our increasing grasp that the journey does have an ending. Many of us refuse the invitation to evolve, hanging on to old ways that may not serve us well in the second half.
