Bobby is a 2006 American drama film written and directed by Emilio Estevez. The screenplay is a fictionalized account of the hours leading up to the June 5, 1968 shooting of Robert F. Kennedy in the kitchen of The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles following his win in the California Democratic Party primary. The film recreates the ambiance of the era and invokes the hopes inspired by Kennedy through the use of actual newsreel footage of the senator intercut with dramatic sequences involving mostly fictional characters. It uses an ensemble plot device similar to that employed in the 1932 film Grand Hotel, and later used by Robert Altman in Nashville.

The Apartments present their eighth album, That’s What the Music Is For, made in close collaboration with producer Tim Kevin. Recorded gradually between performances across Mexico City, Sydney, San Francisco, Lisbon, and Marseilles, the songs were built piece by piece in the studio whenever the chance arose. Out of this slow accumulation came an album that traces how past and present constantly exchange places, and how those we’ve lost continue to move through our lives in memory and in song. Peter Milton Walsh describes the record as “a world of smoke, gin, and regrets; of melancholy, brass, and strings. Life as it comes to us, with its share of joy and sorrow.” These compositions carry both intimacy and scale, refinement and rawness, telling stories that stay with the listener long after they end. Walsh is joined by Tim Kevin, Nick Kennedy, Adrian Workman, Natasha Penot, Jeff Crawley, Neysa May Barnett, Pauline Drand, and Xavier Guéant-Mata, whose contributions enrich the luminous atmosphere of the album.

Everyone concerned about the quality ! I'll be honest and straightforward, it is mean, I can not say that bad, at least the audience noise is not as strong as in other bootlegs, although some bootlegs he is, but he does not stop listening to the record, and also some bootlegs recorded so that you would think that the recording is not made of the concert hall and the spectator with mixing console during a concert ! Also very good arrangement of the songs !

U-Nam makes one goal of Weekend in L.A.: A Tribute to George Benson clear: He wants to pay honor to the guitarist who served as a major musical influence. However, because U-Nam himself is an innovator steeped in R&B and hip-hop along with jazz, he is not content to make the kind of record that Benson might have dropped in 1980. U-Nam incorporates those genres into this work in the same manner that Benson moved further along the jazz-pop road that Wes Montgomery was starting down prior to his untimely death in 1968.
