Weasels Ripped My Flesh is the seventh studio album by the American rock group the Mothers of Invention, and the tenth overall by Frank Zappa, released in 1970. It is the second album released after the Mothers disbanded in 1969, preceded by Burnt Weeny Sandwich. In contrast to its predecessor, which almost entirely focused on studio recordings of arranged compositions, Weasels Ripped My Flesh consists of a combination of live and studio recordings and features more improvisation.

The band was founded in 1965 by singer-guitarist Steve Marriott, singer-bassist Ronnie Lane, drummer Kenney Jones and keyboardist Jimmy Winston; Winston was replaced that year by Ian McLagan.The Small Faces remain in the public mind as one of the most recognized and influential mod bands of the 1960s. Their best known hits are Itchycoo Park, Lazy Sunday, All or Nothing and Tin Soldier. From 1967, the band's music began to incorporate elements of psychedelic rock, the best-known example of which is one of the first concept albums of rock music, Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake, released in 1968. After the breakup of the Small Faces in 1969, Steve Marriott formed his band Humble Pie. His three friends went on to make music with two members of The Jeff Beck Group, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, under the name Faces.

The latest masterpiece is a celebration of family and heritage, taking inspiration from Zamrock, Zambia's fusion genre.

Popular hip hop duo composed of Jeff Townes AKA DJ Jazzy Jeff (b. Jeffrey A. Townes, 22 January 1965, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) and Will Smith AKA The Fresh Prince (b. Willard Christopher Smith Jr., 25 September 1968, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA).
Jazzy Jeff started DJing in the mid-1970's when he was a mere 10 years old, (though he is not to be confused with the similarly-titled Jazzy Jeff who cut an album, also for Jive, in 1985).
Together with Will Smith , they became the first rap act to receive a Grammy Award for their second 12" single "Parents Just Don't Understand".
Meanwhile, Jeff founded "A Touch Of Jazz Inc", a stable of producers working on rap/R&B projects. The duo picked up a second Grammy for "Summertime" in 1991, before scoring a shock UK number 1 in 1993 with "Boom! Shake The Room".
