Blues Traveler has announced the release of their new studio album Traveler’s Blues on Round Hill Records, a collection of re-imagined and re-charged classics from The American Blues Songbook, set for release on July 30, 2021.
Scattering represents a number of exciting departures for Progger, including the incorporation of new personnel, production techniques, and a recording process that involved two cities 1,700 miles apart, Austin and Brooklyn. The band's regular personnel were joined by some of New York’s finest young musicians, including Nate Werth (percussion) and Justin Stanton (keyboards) of Snarky Puppy, to explore larger textures and a hugely diverse sound palette for the new music.

Eyesberg were found in Frankfurt circa 1980 by a team of five musicians, Georg Alfter, Michael Buchner, Norbert Podien, Thomas Klarmann and English traveler Malcolm Shuttleworth, who settled down in Germany, after playing music in Israel. Apparently this early formation was not very succesful with no documents left from this premature stage. Over 30 years later Klarmann had enjoyed success as a member of Agos and Superdrama, so a new formation was inspired and gathered to give Eyesberg another shot. Klarmann however was not among the participants, this fresh start was made by Malcolm Shuttleworth (vocals), Norbert Podien (keyboards) and Georg Alfter (guitar, bass), but Klarmann's bandmate on Argos Ulf Jacobs was invited to join on drums…
