As well as picking up litter on Wimbledon Common, The Wombles were the pop sensations of 1974, and ‘The Wombling Song’ kicks the last disc off – Boney M., Village People, Hot Chocolate and 10cc follow – as does the second featured track from ABBA, ‘SOS’, and Terry Jacks’ No. 1 ‘Seasons In The Sun’. Slade, Smokie, Sparks and Sailor all delivered stellar pop gold and Showaddywaddy, Darts, Mud and John Travolta all pay homage to the Rock ‘N’ Roll era - 70’s style, as does the theme from the huge TV show ‘Happy Days’, and the first single to sell over two million copies in the UK and spent nine weeks at No. 1. ‘Mull Of Kintyre’ from Wings makes the perfect song to conclude our journey through the pop goldmine of the 1970s.

Boasting 50 tracks across three CDs, "The Ultimate Collection" is an in-depth overview of Bonnie's career. Disc One focuses on Bonnie in her 80s and 90s pomp, across six albums recorded for the CBS and Hansa labels. 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart', a transatlantic #1 single as well as a huge seller across Europe, is a natural place to start, and her signature song. Other highlights include 'Holding Out For A Hero' from the Footloose soundtrack. Disc Two turns its attention to original material from the first four studio albums, recorded for RCA Records between 1976 and 1981. The two top ten smashes were 'Lost In France' and 'It's A Heartache', with many more high quality songs to discover. Casual fans will find plenty to delve into. Disc Three looks at Classics and Duets.

'Tiny Dancer' from Elton John, 'Telephone Line' from Electric Light Orchestra and Thin Lizzy's 'Whiskey In The Jar' kick off the ultimate sing-a-long, with all-time classics from Harry Nilsson, Billy Joel, Eric Carmen, Joan Armatrading, and the Bruce Springsteen penned 'Because The Night' from Patti Smith to follow. More '80s favourites from Peter Cetera, Bryan Ferry, Steve Winwood, T'Pau and Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes' 'Up Where We Belong' bring this disc to a close. The final disc opens with a run of stellar contemporary classics, 'I'll Stand By You' from Pretenders, U2's 'With Or Without You' and 'Paradise' from Coldplay lead in to 'Angels' from Robbie Williams, plus well-loved smashes from Roxette and Maria McKee.
