There have been countless UFO live recordings issued over the years, with the best undoubtedly being 1979's classic Strangers in the Night. But certainly one of the more intriguing live UFO releases came in 2008 with the arrival of the four-disc set Live Throughout the Years. And what makes this set stand out from the oodles of other live UFO items is that it includes standout live performances from three different decades – 1976 (London), 1982 (London), and 1998 (Vienna)…
German hard 'n' heavy legends Bonfire proudly present a covers album extraordinaire: Legends pays tribute to numerous legendary artists of the rock and metal scene who all have toured with them. The personal connection can be felt throughout the entire double album (which consist of 32 songs in total). No matter if Bonfire give Toto's "Africa" or "Eye Of The Tiger" (Survivor) their individual touch or even enter heavy metal territory (Grave Digger's "Rebellion") - it's perfectly executed and recognizable as Bonfire versions right away.
Live recorded at "16th acid mothers temple festival" tokuzo (nagoya), 9th december 2017.
Michael Schenker is a changed man. With a career stretching back to 1969, the German guitar virtuoso is an artist for whom the term ‘volatile’ has sometimes seemed invented. Recorded with singers and musicians associated with Michael in previous decades, the aptly-titled »Resurrection« sees Schenker embracing his past to build something fresh and exciting. In 2016, Schenker put together MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST, a tour featuring former MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP vocalists Gary Barden and Graham Bonnet, plus Robin McAuley of the McAULEY SCHENKER GROUP. Instrumental back-up was provided by former M.S.G. bass player Chris Glen and drummer Ted McKenna, plus guitarist/keyboard player Steve Mann, also of the McAULEY SCHENKER GROUP. These shows were so rapturously received by audiences across Japan and Europe that it seemed only logical for the protagonists to make new music together. The decision to bring in Doogie White, singer of Schenker’s TEMPLE OF ROCK, adds even more substance to Michael’s assembly.
