US Rattle And Hum

Since no "Deluxe Edition" exists of this album, I decided to make my own collection while I wait for the real official edition to appear, because, it'll appear, right ??? I think you'll really enjoy this compilation. This is a mix of Rattle And Hum album, b-sides, and live tracks from the DVD that didn't appear on the album.

This is an upgrade from my previous post. It's the audio demux of the Rattle And Hum DVD 1999 Paramount Home Video in 16bit/48kHz. Contains 11 songs not included on the album "U2: Rattle and Hum". I used the AC3 6ch track (instead of 2ch) and converted it to stereo using foobar2000 (Convert 5.1 to stereo). The 6ch is more powerful and bright than the 2ch, all the instruments and voice are very clear.

Recorded over 6 months in 1991 in Berlin and Dublin, Achtung Baby was U2's seventh studio album. It was produced by Daniel Lanois , Brian Eno and Steve Lillywhite and mixed and engineered by Flood. Led by "The Fly", Achtung Baby spawned four more huge hit singles, "Mysterious Ways", "One", "Even Better Than The Real Thing" and "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses". Heralded by Rolling Stone’s Robert Hilburn as "U2’s daring descent into darkness”, the album was awarded the Grammy for Best Rock Performance and became one of the most acclaimed rock records of the nineties and of U2's career. As Bono said at the time, it was “the sound of four men chopping down the Joshua Tree”.

Pop is the ninth studio album by Irish rock band U2, released in March 1997. The album was a continuation of the band's 1990s reinvention, as they pursued a new musical direction by combining alternative rock, techno, dance, and electronica influences. The album employs a variety of production techniques relatively new to U2, including sampling, loops, programmed drum machines, and sequencing. During the 1980s U2 had fast become a critically acclaimed band who reached stellar proportions. Due to their puritanical approach to both music and performance their ability to maintain their status was failing.
