Girls Aloud have announced a 20th anniversary reissue of their debut album ‘Sound Of The Underground’ – find all the details below. The record came out back in May 2003 after the group won the reality TV series Popstars: The Rivals the previous year. It landed at Number Two on the UK albums chart, and included the Number One single of the same name.

One of the most important bands of the second wave of U.K. punk, the U.K. Subs had been on the scene since the early days of British punk. But as the first wave of bands began to crumble, the U.K. Subs just got tougher and faster, and slowly rose to fame as many of their peers were burning out, finally breaking out in 1979 with the album that established their template, Another Kind of Blues. The group's signature sound was stripped-down and anthemic British punk tunes, not unlike the early Clash but with less gingerbread and a heavier attack, coupled with ranting vocals that merged anger with dark humor.

The Spice Girls are an English pop girl group formed in 1994. The group comprised Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm, also known as Mel C ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice").
