Erased Tapes has the huge privilege of reissuing the original Penguin Cafe Orchestra's last ever studio album Union Cafe including a first time vinyl edition — out December 1st 2017 to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of founder Simon Jeffes' passing in 1997.
Union is characterised by a seamless fusion of progressive metal, electronic elements & subtle pop hooks, and quickly established Ihlo as a rising force within the progressive music scene upon its release in 2019. This edition features a 2024 remaster by Tesseract's Acle Kahney, featuring all original 7 tracks from the 2019 release, plus 2 (and a half) live recordings from the band's performance at ProgPower Europe 2023.
