The upcoming film is pitched as an authentic remake of Walt Disney’s animation of the same name, detailing the unlikely relationship between a pampered Cocker Spaniel and an inner-city stray who shows her his side of town, during which romance blooms.

Tramp Records' Can You Feel It series, which here reaches its fourth instalment, has always been one of the more reliable sources of obscure, hard-to-find modern soul and boogie, with many tracks plucked from the vaults of tiny labels or private press releases. Naturally the selections this time round are spot on and will be unfamiliar to all but a handful of dedicated diggers. Highlights include (but are in no way limited to) the flash-fried, solo-heavy psych-funk of Vantage Point's 'All Night', the disco rush of Keith lowery's 'Super Dude', the low-slung, War-esque brilliance of 'You Shake 'Em Things' by Synod, the horn-heavy jauntiness of Street Life 80's 'Steps On A Cloud', and the killer boogie-funk badness of Ditto Memo's 'Upside Down'.

Tramp's Feeling Nice series has positioned itself as a universally accepted essential cultural and historical document of some of the greatest unknown local vernacular American Black music of the sixties and seventies. The Feeling Nice series has been dedicated to filling in the blanks between the more well known cuts of so-called Deep Funk canon and drawing out the relationships and stories behind and between the tunes and the artists, and ultimately creating a dialogue that serves to enlighten and enliven a true anti-racist discussion of American Popular music specifically and of Global human music in general.

After 6 years and 7 volumes, the Tramp Records crew invites you to join them on yet another enlightening journey into soulful Jazz, Soul and Folk from the 1970s.Very few compilation series' release as many as eight volumes and those that get that far often start to run out of quality music or meander too far from their original artistic direction. That certainly is not the case with the "Praise Poems" series which leaps from strength-to-strength as our team of compilers and researchers continue to unearth lost and often overlooked music from an era long gone. Many of these records were released in small quantities as private pressings or by small regional labels. Obviously, those labels neither had the budget, expertise, nor options to promote their releases in a sweeping way. Therefore the majority of these artists failed to find the wider audience their music so richly deserved.

Only one year after the big success of "Can You Feel It? Modern Soul, Disco & Boogie 1976-86", Tramp Records is extremely proud to present the second volume in the series. Get up, get down, and get ready for some more highly underrated MODERN SOUL, DISCO and BOOGIE!
SIDE A: Cirt Gill's disco bomb "Put The Music In Your Ear" is the perfect tune to open this second Volume. Tony Swamy, originally from Georgetown, Guyana, South America, recorded his one and only 45 in 1978. German saxophonist/band leader Ambros 'Mabusso' Seelos is best known for his 1960s/70s funk outings. "In Orbit" is an insanely groovy disco cut and with this compilation celebrates its debut on vinyl! The Gangbusters unreleased disco banger remained in the can for 38(!) years until Tramp put it out on proper 45rpm single (on clear wax!) in 2018.

Kent Records are commemorating 40 years since the LP Kent 001 “For Dancers Only” hit the record shops of 1982 with resounding success. Our new CD “For Dancers Forty” revisits the US Modern and Kent labels that started it all off.
We have already released a “For Dancers Forty” LP but though the compilations share the same celebratory title, only three tracks feature on both. We didn’t want to neglect our digital customers at the expense of the vinyl hounds. The collection represents the breadth of label-owners Saul, Jules, Joe and Lester Bihari’s recordings, featuring stompers, Rhythm & Blues rockers, girl soul grooves group harmony and sublime ballads.

Platinum Soul Legends 1960-1975 is a 3CD box set compilation released in 2002. Put out by Warner Strategic Marketing in the UK, it primarily consists of material from the Warner Music catalog but also features songs from Motown and Sony.

Released in conjunction with an NBC-TV special, 2016's effusively delivered concert album Tony Bennett Celebrates 90 finds vocalist Tony Bennett marking his 90th birthday with an all-star concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. A lavish event, the concert showcased Bennett performing a handful of his most famous songs, with the legendary singer joined by a bevy of musical guests including Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Lady Gaga, k.d. lang, Kevin Spacey, Stevie Wonder, and many others. Generally speaking, the album is front-loaded with the guest performances and largely consists of each artist doing a rendition of a popular standard Bennett performed and/or recorded at one point or another.
