By then they’d established the art of singing vocal harmony in every genre of American pop, and gone far beyond the country’s borders. Ahead of what would have been Fred Rogers 95th birthday on March 20, GRAMMY® and Emmy winning music producer Dennis Scott is preparing to reissue a special deluxe version on March 17 of the 2019 album, Thank You, Mister Rogers: Music & Memories, his second recorded collection of Fred’s original music by way of Bob Frank Distribution & The Orchard (orcd.co/ThankYouMisterRogers) and ThankYouMisterRogers.com.

We released a 7 inch vinyl Box Set for Black Friday Record Store Day that contained some of the rarest sides from the catalog. This two CD issue of the same Box Set includes all of those tracks, plus another 19 from the coveted Soul Fire catalog. Soul Fire Records, started in 1999 by Phillip Lehman, produced some of the funkiest recordings to ever make it to 45. Many of those 45s from the Soul Fire catalog are nearly impossible to find today, and if and when they do come up for sale, they fetch top dollar. Soul Fire closed it s doors in 2003 when Phillip stepped away from the music business to pursue other ventures. He left the studio to Jeff Silverman & Leon Michaels, who then started what today is known as Truth & Soul Records. This 2 CD set contains some of the rarest sides from the Soul Fire catalog, and liner notes from Phillip himself.

The Foolcame out on the tiny MCI imprint and, energized by the national hit, the label for the next five years turned out more Rock 'n' Roll gems by the likes of Al Casey, Dick Robinson and His Makebelievers, Jim Fleming and The Casuals, Bobby and The Demons, Frank Fafara and Denny Reed. This collection is the first-ever overview of this ground-breaking company, featuring Sanford Clark's never-before-heard pre-Fool recordings of Blue Suede Shoes and Heartbreak Hotel plus previously unreleased tracks by Lee Hazlewood, Spence Bare and the Newton Brothers featuring Wayne Newton, several vintage 1950s advertising jingles and two songs played on AMC's 'Mad Men.'
