From 1974 until 1985, Van Halen consisted of Eddie Van Halen; Eddie's brother, drummer Alex Van Halen; vocalist David Lee Roth; and bassist Michael Anthony. Upon its release, the band's self-titled debut album reached No. 19 on the Billboard pop music charts. By the early 1980s, Van Halen was one of the most successful rock acts of the time. The album 1984 was a hit; its lead single, "Jump", is the band's only U.S. number one single to date and was internationally known. For this Hi-Res release (2013) were used transfers from the original EQ production analog tapes.

Celeblation Of Big Rock is a 2CD bootleg CD by American hard rock/heavy metal band Van Valen. Released in 2001, it consists of a live performance in Osaka, Japan at the Furitsu Taiikukan on 10 September, 1979 on the World Vacation Tour in support of their album Van Halen II. It is the best. This is on the Aces High label.

The upcoming set includes newly remastered versions of four multi-platinum studio albums, along with a selection of rarities recorded between 1989 and 2004. All the music in the set was mastered directly from the original master tapes, a process overseen by the band’s longtime engineer, Donn Landee.
