Recent developments in digital technology have simplifi ed landscape photography. Many aspects of image-making that until recently required the facilities of a purpose-built darkroom can now be undertaken with an ever-expanding range of sophisticated software. Photographers now have control over the entire process, from the initial concept all the way through to the fi nal print. Once the picture has been captured, the management of all aspects of its adjustment is at our fi ngertips; the ability to perform these functions is very empowering.
