She made music history as a member of the Go-Go's, the first all-female band to have a #1 album in the U.S. "Each track is inspired by a corresponding chapter title in the book. Using singing or spoken phrases and text, often rewritten or reworded to make a lyrical concept, I've added music, beats and sounds to convey the mood and context of what I wrote."
