Reel to Real Recordings is proud to announce the label's co- inaugural release, Swingin' in Seattle: Live at the Penthouse (1966-1967), a scintillating set of previously unissued live recordings of the Cannonball Adderley Quintet featuring Cannonball's brother and cornetist Nat Adderley, pianist Joe Zawinul, bassist Victor Gaskin and drummer Roy McCurdy recorded over the course of 4 nights between 1966 and 1967 at the legendary Penthouse jazz club in Seattle, Washington. This is the very same band that recorded the classic Mercy, Mercy, Mercy! Live at "The Club" album on Capitol Records on October 20, 1966, and it captures the quintet in rare form at the height of their most powerful swingin'.

Hannah Walker and Jamie Elliott, better known as Vancouver based Indie-Folk duo Twin Bandit, return with their sophomore album "Full Circle". Inspired by day-to-day experiences reflecting on death, mental health and good ol’ fashioned heartache, this is a deeply personal album which aims to inspire those who hear it.

Since Eric Bibb's breakthrough with the Opus 3 recording "Spirit & The Blues" in Autumn of 1994, a great deal has happened in Eric's life. In Spring of 1996 he was an outstanding success at the London Blues Festival (April) and later he was equally well received in Canada at the Vancouver Folk & BluesFestival (August). On both occasions the plaudits were shared by slide guitarist Göran Wennerbrandtwho, as well as playing on both of the CDs, also produced this release. On the new album we have in general the same musicians who contributed to the success of "Spirit & The Blues," including the gospel quartet The Deacons.

Tiger Moon took a team up to the Cariboo Mountain Region of BC to record a piece of Canadiana, and this is the album they emerged from the mountains with. They also recorded a documentary on the making of the album, available on DVD and online video streaming hosts. This is Tiger Moon's very first full-length release.
