Aphrodite's Child Discography
Progressive Rock | MP3 160/192/224 kbps | 430 Mb

After a search in AH music section I saw almost nothing from Aphrodite's Child. The albums uploaded long time ago were all deleted. I uploaded these albums a while ago to put on my own blog, I know, it's not the best Quality, but I don't have it in a higher bitrate. So please don't ask for Lossless in the comments ;-)

Genre: Instrumental Progressive Rock | RAR 3% Rec. | Label: Mylodon Records

Taurus is the name used by the talented Chilean multi-instrumentalist Claudio Momberg who after a successful career in bands as Seti, Caamora and Subterra released four excellent albums edited by Mylodon Records. Like Mike Oldfield and Vangelis before him, Claudio plays all the instruments, but to make it even more impressive, also produced all the albums. It was not a surprise to discover that his music was fluid and elegant with a unique style product of his dexterity with all the instruments. Recommended for fans of orchestral and instrumental Prog.

Among all of his many film soundtracks and New-Age albums, Direct stands out in Vangelis' vast discography. As implied by its title, this is indeed one of the most direct albums he has ever done (and by "direct" here, I do not mean simple or commercial). While still being largely electronic, and still occasionally of a somewhat relaxing nature, this album is more up tempo, melodic and some moments are almost even rocking!

Project Divinity is an ambient project of a finnish hobbyist composer Matti Paalanen. It follows the footsteps of such artists as Vangelis, Global Communication and Boards of Canada. Soundscapes are mellow, drifting and contain no tight structures. The musical material of the project has two distinct sides, one being dark and brooding, the other lighthearted and beautiful.

Melody & Ambience (1995). Uwe Saher issued Brainwork V, Melody & Ambience, two hours of music sprawled out over two discs that seemed like both a culmination, mark of intent, and developmental statement all at once. There is an immense amount of music to ingest here, Saher honing his craft along dimensions previously charted (Vangelis influence remains keenly felt, as does the aforementioned Jarre, and, of course, the Berlin School grads), but across the records breadth Saher continues to push against the constrictions of genre music, in manners reasonably successful by any measure. Stylistic embroidery and rampant eclecticism aside, enough wonderful sounds dance out of the stereo field to satisfy both the jaded and virginal…

Ron Boots is part of the so-called third generation of electronic musicians. The first generation, in the early 1970's, consisted of the EM pioneers and the second generation emerged at the end of the 1970's/early 1980's which included their descendants. In the middle 1970's, Ron was introduced to electronic music through the album 'Timewind' by grandmaster Klaus Schulze. Ron was so overwhelmed by this style music that he decided he wanted to play electronic music himself. In addition to the well-known electronic music names like Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Steve Roach and Patrick Kosmos, Ron was also influenced by other music genres…
