Vaya Con Dios was a Belgian music act, that stood out for its mixing of blues, jazz, and Gypsy styles, as well as the distinctive voice of its lead singer Dani Klein. It was one of the most successful Belgian music acts ever, having sold more than 7 million albums and more than 3 million singles. It was founded in 1986, but after 1991 Vaya Con Dios was for the most part a one woman band, centered on singer, lyricist, band leader and (co-)producer Dani Klein, reinforced by an ever-changing selection of musicians. In 2014, Dani Klein performed her last international tour under the Vaya Con Dios formula. Vaya Con Dios officially disbanded with their last concert on 25 October 2014, in Forest National.

CNR Records Belgium are truly proud to present to you : the brand new album ‘SHADES OF JOY’ by international stars VAYA CON DIOS, their first in almost 2 decades. It all began when leading lady Dani Klein was stuck in Brussels during the pandemic lockdown. Not being able to go to her home in Andalucia, she decided to make the best out of a bad situation. Together with Thierry (Plas) and François (Garny), the three started working together on a daily basis at Thierry’s Zoo Studios. New songs, inspired and forced by the circumstances. Once the arrangements ideas were completed – and the lockdown was history – musicians came in to play the parts. Sometimes asking them to improvise as well. And after a little more than two years the album was finished. ‘SHADES OF JOY’ is a vintage Vaya Con Dios record. And with an 8-page booklet with beautiful photo’s of the band. Vaya Con Dios is back, and back to stay!

Belgian band Vaya con Dios released several albums for Ariola Records during the late '80s and '90s. Formed in 1986 around Dani Klein, Dirk Schoufs, and Willy Willy (Willy Lambregt), the trio combined influences from blues, jazz, and Gypsy styles. Some of their best material was collected on Best Of, released in late 1996.

Vaya con Dios burst onto the scene with their premier album, simply breathtaking. Powerful lyrics, enchanting music, and fantastic sense of song. After a ten year hiatus from the spotlight, Vaya Con Dios and it's driving force, singer Dani Klein are back with a new album, The Promise. Originally formed in 1986 by Klein and then partner, bass player Dirk Schoufs with guitarist Willy Lambregt, the band achieved international success by breaking down genre barriers within popular music…
