Nancy discovers what happened to Esteban and has to take measures to protect herself. Meanwhile, Andy changes his life drastically while Dean, Doug and Celia can reconcile their differences.

Nancy, Andy and Cesar team up to look for Esteban when he goes missing. In the meantime, Dean and Doug start their scheme of revenge against Celia, while Silas and Shane develope a need to protect their new stepsister.

There is the unfortunate tendency on the part of many Canadians, regardless of profession, to act less-than confident when encountering others of a similar qualification, who come from the United States to ply their trade in the Canadian environment. Not so with tenor saxophonist Cory Weeds. In this recording with the Harold Mabern Trio entitled As Of Now, Weeds plays with self-assurance and strength throughout this session, and is entitled to more than his share of atta-boys.

Jackie McLean was a hard-bop alto saxophonist with a fiery tight tone, who recorded extensively in the ‘50s and ‘60s mainly with Blue Note Records. Although his forays with an organ was confined to two albums with Jimmy Smith Open House and Plain Talk, Cory Weeds’ decision to use an organ on this session does not stray off the mark. Condition Blue accomplishes the band’s intention, to acknowledge a saxophonist who had an exploratory vision.
