Sean Ryan Morton’s journey in life has been a long and unusual one. As an outlet to being bullied in school, he turned to music and found passion and comfort in playing and performing. Foundational to his character, He has dedicated his entire life to mentoring people musically and spiritually. Over the years he has gone from music teacher teaching all different instruments to performing in front of thousands and like most musicians has developed a unique style that reflects the passions that he has embraced over the years.

'Feed The Wolf' is the second album by Miss Velvet and The Blue Wolf and features the legendary Parliament Funkadelic frontman George Clinton guesting on 4 tracks. Miss Velvet & The Blue Wolf is a dynamic 8-piece New York-based band that brings a vital and original dimension to the funk/soul scene, combining catchy horns with soaring vocals and a driving rock undercurrent.

Hailed by Downbeat as one of the top 20 jazz drummers, Allison Miller marries her love of composition, drumming, and community in the form of her critically acclaimed band, Boom Tic Boom. Described as cinematic chamber jazz, this leading-edge sextet’s music featuring Jenny Scheinman on violin, Myra Melford on piano, Kirk Knuffke on cornet, Ben Goldberg on clarinet, Todd Sickafoose on bass, and Miller on drums- is at turns challenging and accessible, teasing and tough, virtuosic but never overbearing, and always grooving. Miller’s compositions reflect her diverse musical upbringing and versatile palette and she aims to, in true collective spirit, highlight each member of the band.

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller The Wolf’s Call (Le chant du loup). The album features the film’s original music composed by tomandandy (The Strangers, 47 Meters Down, The Mothman Prophecies, Sinister 2). Also included is the original track Honoring the Dead written for the movie by Marc Streitenfeld (Prometheus, American Gangster, Robin Hood) (also available as a digital single here). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Wolf’s Call is directed by Antonin Baudry and stars François Civil, Omar Sy, Mathieu Kassovitz and Reda Kateb. The movie is set in the near future, on board a French submarine in crisis and centers on a crew member who unwittingly participates in an operation that will lead his country to the brink of an apocalypse. The thriller will be released in French theaters next Wednesday, February 20. No word yet on a domestic release.
