When Sebastian Hardie's debut album was released in 1975, the term "Symphonic Rock" was born in Australia. Featuring lush symphonic keyboard sounds you would expect to hear from an orchestra and the melodic, soulful guitar of Mario Millo, "FOUR MOMENTS" has become one of the all-time classic Progressive albums of the seventies. Re-released on CD some twenty-five years after its original release, this timeless music remains in demand world wide.

Cardboard sleeve (mini LP) reissue from Bill Evans featuring the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with standard CD players) and the latest 24bit/96kHz digital remastering. Part of a 5-album Bill Evans SHM-CD cardboard sleeve reissue series featuring albums "I Will Say Goodbye," "Alone (Again)," "Intuition," "Re: Person I Knew," and "Jazzhouse." This set is one of two albums (both reissued on CD) recorded by the Bill Evans Trio (with bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Marty Morell) at Copenhagen's Montmartre on one night in 1969 but not released initially until the late '80s. Evans sounds relaxed and swinging playing his usual repertoire. All of the songs (mostly standards) have been recorded by Evans at other times but the pianist's many fans certainly will not mind hearing these "alternate" versions of such tunes as "How Deep Is the Ocean," "How My Heart Sings," "Sleepin' Bee" and a light-hearted "California Here I Come."

The Village Vanguard and Bill Evans have been linked in jazz history since the pianist's first trio recorded Sunday at the Village Vanguard and Waltz for Debby at the club in 1961. Evans returned often, and was later asked by owner Max Gordon to select the house piano. These eight tracks were recorded during the 1974 visit that also produced Since We Met, and offer an accurate sampling of his club sets of the time–a mix of old favorites and newer material, including five Evans originals and a budding interpretation of a Herbie Hancock tune.

Before he was in Kingdom Come, Lenny Wolf (possessor of without a doubt one of the best voices in hard rock) was in Stone Fury. This was his first band after coming to LA from Germany, and it's good stuff. This is the first of two studio albums Stone Fury put out, and possesses the moderate hit Break Down the Walls. Stone Fury isn't as polished as Kingdom Come, with a rawer sound, but KC fans will love this.

The 12-song effort was co-produced by Dave Mustaine (MEGADETH) and Spitz and is described in a press release as "explosive hard rock, pop punk, alternative rock, with a taste of thrash." The CD was mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, DROWNING POOL, MEGADETH) and it features cover artwork by John Lorenzi, who worked on the last three MEGADETH studio albums - 2007's "United Abominations", 2009's "Endgame" and 2011's "TH1RT3EN" - as well as the band's 2007 box set, "Warchest". Grammy Award winner Chris Vrenna (NINE INCH NAILS, MARILYN MANSON) handled all synths and additional programming on the entire CD.

As far as Progressive rock is concerned, most of the criticisms heard during the last thirty years insist on the show-off virtuoso side of it, with a lack of emotions, sort of a technical window for musicians with incredible egos. This was actually one of the major arguments of the punk wave during the second half of the Seventies that had set as a goal (If they ever had one…) to get rid of the "Dinosaurs" that YES, GENESIS, EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER and others had become. It would be completely dishonest to deny this superficial and over simplifying reasoning a small hint of truth, but SEBASTIAN HARDIE could be a good example of the contrary…

After going their separate ways in the late '70's Sebastian Hardie reformed in 1994 and performed a one-off concert in Los Angeles at Progfest '94. The show was recorded featuring tracks from their two classic albums ‘Four Moments’ and ‘Windchase’ and the cd 'Live in LA' was released. In March 2003 Sebastian Hardie again reformed for a performance at The Metro Theatre, Sydney followed by a concert tour of Japan. Returning home to Australia, enthused and inspired, the band decided to record their third studio album. What followed were six new tracks and the album ‘BLUEPRINT’.
