JAUBI continue the Nafs journey, which commenced with the single “Satanic Nafs” (featuring the remix by legendary LA producers The Gaslamp Killer & Mophono) released in March 2021. Now JAUBI draw on the elements of North Indian classical music, Hip-Hop and modal/spiritual jazz in their debut LP entitled “Nafs At Peace”.

This music was recorded during the filming of the documentary a story of Sahel Sounds be- tween November 2013 and October 2014.
The film provides an inside look at Christopher Kirkley’s project “Sahel Sounds” - a blog, record label and platform to explore arts and music of the Sahel region through non-tradi- tional ethnographic fieldwork.

Cool Spam From The Inventors Of Purgatory is a 2018 album by an artist who goes by the name Gel Nails, who also goes by the name Deformen Horns, who also goes by the name Ultra Bonbon, who also goes by the name Fat Legs, who also goes by the name Napalm Soup With Screws In It. His government name is Danny Milanese but with all of these pseudonyms, maybe his real name is actually Fat Legs or Mr. Napalm Soup With Screws In It. While he has worked with different labels, this project is self-released.

Imagine Kate Bush and Tori Amos wrote a yacht doom album satirising the edgelord-tech-billionaire-worship generation, recorded by Peter Gabriel and Michael McDonald in the early 80s using an industry prerelease unit of the late 90s Yamaha PSR-8000 synthesiser, several heavily distorted guitars, and a baby grand.
