The Seventh Sign is the seventh studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on 9 May 1994. After the classically-tinged Fire and Ice (1993), Yngwie Malmsteen returned to his heavy metal roots on this 1994 release. This is one of his hardest albums; the songwriting as well as the guitar work shows the influence of bands like Rainbow and Deep Purple. Most of the material is solid, and there are a few outstanding tracks like Pyramid of Cheops. The vocals are handled by Mike Verscara, who shows himself to be a competent, if not outstanding singer. The mastering on this SPV edition is quite good, resulting in very clear sound. The bonus material here consists of a studio track, In the Distance

In 2009, Time magazine rated Malmsteen as number 9 among the 11 greatest electric guitar players of all time.
After Speak of the Devil, Tribute, Just Say Ozzy, Live & Loud, the Ozzfest collections, and both Osbourne-fronted Black Sabbath live discs, one would think that Ozzy had exhausted his concert-album appeal. But due to the success of his reality TV show, Osbourne once again decided it was time for another live album. Although Osbourne's live performances were still rock-solid during the recording of this tour, Live at Budokan seems mighty excessive…
A true legend! Hardly any other musician has experienced as many musical styles in their career as singer-songwriter Willy DeVille. From his early days with Mink DeVille at New York’s famous CBGB’s club through to his later career, he has always created a unique blend of blues, pop, Cajun and soul seasoned with pure DeVille magic and that wonderful smokey voice. Willy DeVille was a regular visitor to Montreux and this album captures him at his absolute best in 1994 with a stunning band and a superb set list.
