Known the world over in particular for her timeless classics, "Hello Stranger" and "Baby, I'm Yours", the Michigan-born chanteuse's distinctive brand of sweet soul brought her much acclaim in the mid-60s, resulting in a total of five Atlantic albums. Disc one is a collection of the singles released in Japan during the Warner era, including 19 songs in order of release. The bonus DVD is a music video collection (nine songs have never been released on DVD in Japan), including the early version of "Take on Me". 10 of the 17 songs have not been included in the video work, The Hits of a-ha in 1991.

Beginning his musical career in the swing era with Harry James (2) and Tommy Dorsey, Sinatra became a solo artist with great success after signing with Columbia Records in March 1943; he stayed with Columbia until he got dropped by the label in June '52. Sinatra signed a seven-year recording contract with Capitol Records on March 13, 1953, and released several critically lauded albums while with Capitol. Sinatra left Capitol to found his own record label in 1960, Reprise Records, toured internationally, and fraternized with the Rat Pack and President John F. Kennedy in the early 1960s.

Yessongs is the first live album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released as a triple album in May 1973 on Atlantic Records. After completing their Close to the Edge Tour in April 1973, the band selected live recordings between February and December 1972 on their tours supporting Fragile (1971) and Close to the Edge (1972) for a live album release. They were then edited and remixed with their producer and live sound mixer Eddy Offord. Three tracks feature original Yes drummer Bill Bruford while the remaining tracks feature his replacement, Alan White. Yessongs received a mostly positive reception from music critics, though much of its criticism was directed at its sound quality. However, the album was a commercial success for the band, reaching number 7 on the UK Albums Chart and number 12 on the US Billboard 200. In 1998, the album was certified platinum in the United States. In 2015, recordings of seven shows from late 1972, including ones that were used in the original album, were released in their entirety as Progeny: Seven Shows from Seventy-Two.
