During the years 1994-1996 Time-Life produced a CD & Magazine called "Grooves". Veteran New York City DJ Vin Scelsa was given full control of the project, and a total of 14 wonderful issues were produced. They each highlighted Vin's selections of the best tracks from the best new albums/artists of the time. In addition, the last track on every CD was a bonus acoustic track by one of the featured artists recorded in the studio just for "Grooves". It was the next best thing to listening to Vin's radio show, "Idiot's Delight".

The series was revived as "AM Gold" in 1995, with a different cover design (early volumes had an artist's drawing of a pocket transistor radio, with later volumes bearing a "gold record" with the year or era spotlighted emblazoned over the top). The first 20 volumes were re-titled issues of volumes from the former "Super Hits" series with identical track lineups, while new volumes covering the mid- and late-1970s (including individual volumes for each of the years 1974-1979) were included.

Arc Of Life is a new progressive rock supergroup which features three members of the current Yes line-up, vocalist Jon Davison, bassist/vocalist Billy Sherwood, and drummer Jay Schellen. Completing the lineup is one of the most interesting talents in the "new" progressive rock scene in the US, Dave Kerzner (ex-Sound of Contact) on keyboards and Jimmy Haun (also featured on Yes albums in the past) on guitars.
