The Lightning Seeds are an English alternative rock and pop band from Liverpool, England formed in 1989 by Ian Broudie, formerly of the Big in Japan band. Pure is an 18-track U.K.-only collection, covering the Lightning Seeds' biggest hits as well as some of their lesser known, though just as pleasing, songs. It was released in 1996 and reached #27 in the UK charts.
