A stunning sophomore release from Alyssa Allgood and her band with fresh takes on some old classics and some crafty originals. Her 2016 debut, ''Out Of The Blue'', grabbed ears across the country, showcasing her vocal clarity, her improvisational chops, her skillful lyric-writing, and an interpretative maturity unexpected for a woman about to turn 24. And her sophomore effort builds on that debut while racing ahead of it in every way.

One of the greatest talents of the great talent, vocalist Betty Carter, was her ability to sing in different voice personalities.
