Didier Squiban a souhaité retrouver l'ambiance intimiste et proche de ses albums en piano solo. Il revisite pour notre plus grand plaisir ses thèmes préférés avec son percussionniste Jérôme Kerihuel. Didier Squiban transforme depuis bientôt une vingtaine d'années des thèmes celtiques en pièces pour piano jazz. Hormis la difficulté certaine de l’exercice réalisé par ce musicologue, force est de reconnaître que le jazz et la musique classique prennent le pas sur les rythmes celtiques, bien difficiles à percevoir pour les non érudits.
