Each module contains a very complete and detailed high-resolution 3D models of human anatomy. You can select from a variety of views of the 3D model and rotate it 360 degrees and add or remove layers of the model for all structures from the innermost to the skin. All anatomical structures are labeled and linked to a detailed text, layers of dissection, high-resolution artwork, and animation layers (such as the role of ligaments in the joints). Moreover, each model is detailed with cross sections that can be correlated with MRI in 3 planes.
The VH Dissector provides 3D visualizations and cross sections of photographic anatomy from the Visible Human Project. With over 2000 identified structures, this unique program provides the ability to approach the human body from any combination of traditional views, including cross sectional, systemic, clinical, surface, regional and surgical anatomy.
