DEPESEBLO is solo project of Dennis Blomberg known from such bands as DOWN AMONG THE DEAD MEN, PAGANIZER and THOSE WHO BRING THE TORTURE. On "Nightmare Desolation" the Swedish guitarist presents 8 songs of heavy, intense death metal with great dose of melody heavily influenced by HYPOCRISY, DISSECTION, early IN FLAMES or even AMON AMARTH. Mastered by Dennis "DerClint" Israel at Clintworks Studio (MISERY INDEX, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, AMON AMARTH). Artwork by Roberto Toderico (SINISTER, ASPHYX, PAGANIZER).
“Emptiness” is CADAVERIA sixth album. It comes almost eight years after the last full length "Silence". The four singles (“Matryoshcada”, “Divination”, “Shamanic Path”, “The Woman Who Fell to Earth”), digitally released between December 2020 and June 2021, after a forced stop of three years due to the singer's illness, now converge into "Emptiness", along with other seven not previously released songs. “Emptiness”, will drop on May 27, 2022 via Time To Kill Records. It is the definitive album from CADAVERIA. A majestic work that seals the artistic and human path of the band. Recorded and mixed at Rrooaarr Sound Studio, Italy, between September 2020 and September 2021. Mixed and mastered at Shadows Studios, Italy, by Cadaveria, Marçelo Santos and Pier Gonella in December 2021 and January 2022. Produced by CADAVERIA and Pier Gonella .Cover artwork by Roberto Toderico (Asphyx, Arch Enemy, Dark Funeral)
Vanquish in Vengeance is Incantation’s first album in six years. Strangely, their profile has grown considerably during their silence. The limelight has changed little for Incantation. This band is a hermetically-sealed institution; civilization could collapse and it wouldn’t affect their approach. Ironically, Vanquish In Vengeance concerns itself far less with lo-fi orthodoxy than do most Incantation disciples. The performances on Vanquish are drum-tight; the tones, muscular and clear.2012 has been a banner year for death/doom. Asphyx, Hooded Menace, Indesinence, Inverloch, and Emptiness have all released compelling material. But right now, Vanquish In Vengeance might take the annual crown. Closer “Legion of Dis” is the best slow death metal jam I’ve heard this year; it starts with claustrophobic groove and gradually opens up into a gaping abyss. Listen for yourself.
Kaotik have a mix of Morgoth, Entombed, Pestilence, and Obituary in their sound- the sense of apocalyptic vision as the riffs unfurl, sometimes in an ascending fashion with speedy trilling or at other times drop tuned with simplistic grooves made for windmill action. From opener "War at the Door" to the scary epic ending "Inbreeding" with Alexis taking the bass lead at times, Kaotik feel perfectly at home in a direction that Asphyx and Hail Of Bullets know has met with fan favor.
