Chocolate Audio teamed up again with the extremely talented Gianluca Ferro and his Custom ESP 8-String Baritone Guitar to create an instrument dedicated to low-end-activated power rhythm guitar.

We continue the series FAMOUS OPERA VOICES OF BULGARIA with recordings of his performances, made between 1961 and 1971. They are a magnificent sequel to the collection with recordings of Dimitar Uzunov, Yulia Wiener-Chenisheva and Lyubomir Bodurov. Asen Selimski was born in 1930. He graduated from the Academy of Music as a student of the famous vocal pedagogue Prof. Hristo Brambarov. Ever since his debut on the opera stage in 1955 until the end of his stage career, he was among the favourites of the audience both in Bulgaria and abroad.

When Franz Schubert in 1827 invited a friend to the first performance of his Winterreise, he called it "a cycle of horrifying songs". The texts that he had chosen to set were by the poet Wilhelm Müller, whose 24 poems form a psychodrama which starts with regret over a lost love but develops into an inner voyage in which a nameless Wanderer probes for answers to existential questions.
