COLLAPSE is from Grenoble, France and formed in 2011 as a trio: Sebastien PIERRON (vocal, guitar), Alexis OSSENI (bass) and Anthony BARRUEL (drums). ''The Fall'' is their third release after ''B sides'' in 2013 and their self-titled album in 2011. In this latest album, the band has some guest musicians on some songs. This instrumental music is influenced by the post-rock genre and bands like PORCUPINE TREE, ARCHIVE and MOGWAI. From their first album, the band has developed a heavier sound, which results in some darker atmosphere. The band has succeeded to create some interesting experimental prog rock music that has something in common with a movie soundtrack, because of the different level of ambience throughout their songs.
